Glass Fusing Workshop

Make functional and decorative glass pieces such as window hangings, coasters, small dishes, magnets and small sculptures with colored fused glass and recycled window glass. Open to all, no experience necessary, all equipment provided.

Guest expert Terry Batte of Portland, OR. will be presenting this workshop. Terry has been working in fused glass for over 20 years. She managed a private glass studio for ten years and has had her own studio and glass tile business for the past ten years. You can see examples of her work by clicking here.

This workshop runs for 1 week and  consists of 4 classes:

• The first three classes will be held in the evenings from 5 - 8 PM on Monday, Jan. 28, Thursday, Jan 31, and Sunday, Feb. 3.
• The last session will be on Sun, Feb 11 at which time finished pieces can be picked up and there will be help with ideas for future pieces.

The cost is $50 for the general public or $45 for current LAC members. All materials are included. Elementary school aged participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
