Description

LAC presents the fifth annual Kathleen Alexander Watercolor Workshop

Join Maui watercolor artist, Kathleen Alexander, for a two day workshop focusing on small projects. Rather than one larger painting, we will work on several small projects such as shells and tropical flowers. Layering and glazing techniques will be covered, as well as masking and drybrush. The workshop will be taught step by step, with lots of individual attention.

This is a two day Watercolor workshop (beginners welcome) where Kathleen will provide detailed instruction beginning to end.

It will be held at the LHES High School Art Classroom (T104) on Saturday and Sunday, January 11 - 12, 2020 from 9 AM-4 PM each day.  Coffee, snacks, and a lunch break will be provided.

Have fun learning watercolor techniques from a renowned teacher!

Cost of the two-day workshop is $220 general public / $180 LAC members.  Materials may be purchased from Kathleen at a cost of $40 (paint, paper, use of brushes, etc.) Registration is transferrable, but not refundable due to the commitment to our visiting artist. In the event of cancellation the registration fee can be considered a donation to the Art Center, a 501(c)3 organization and we can provide a donation letter.

Kathleen is a gifted watercolorist and teacher who lives in Haiku, Maui. Please see her website for specific information on her art website.
